Turn the Engine Run, Gen Field and Control Fuel Pump to ON. Now exit the Loco for the long walk to the front. Reverser to Forward and Throttle to Notch 1. Auto Brake to Release and Independent Brake to Bail Off.
Exit Loco and go release the Hand Brake from to other Loco and then return back to this one. Independent Brake to Release, then to Full Service. Turn Light Switch to Controlled from another Unit coupled at either end. Exit the Loco and enter the other Loco connected to it. Engine Run, Generator Field and Control Fuel Pumps to ON. Turn Lights to Single Unit or Intermediate. But here is the work around.Ĭlimb on the first Loco the closest one, and apply the Hand Brake. There is a Bug in the Multi Engine Configuration. Was there something else I was supposed to do in the rear loco?Īlso, isn't Ctrl-= supposed to allow us to switch to a loco at the other end? It only seems to switch between locos at the same end. It's not just taking time to release, after several minutes the needle still won't budge. What am I missing? I also just realized that the brake pipe won't go higher than 81, so it must be a brake issue, but it must be at the other end and I can't figure out what to do. It's like the consist cars have handbrakes on or something. When I release the throttle, the loco gets yanked backwards like a rubber band.
The loco starts moving, the couplings stretch out, but the rest of the train will not move. I couple up the loco to the back of the consist, follow the instructions (neutral, lights off, full service), run all the way to the front loco, get to the point where we are supposed to leave, but I can't pull the consist.
I'm starting to feel like an idiot, I can't even get out of the yard with the consist.
